rough oil leakdoodlebug21 01-12-2005, 09:50 AM I have a 1996 Neon Sport that I've had continual problems with for the past 2 years. Six months ago I had to have the head gasket replaced (and I got swindled for $880), and now I have an oil leak. I don't know anything about cars, so when a mechanic tells me there is a problem with my car I just take their word for it (and it turns out that after the mechanics fixed my head gasket my car still overheated and all they needed to do was replace a fuse in the dashboard). I was wondering if this oil leak is a common problem with Neons and if so if anyone could give me a rough estimate of about how much this might cost to get fixed. I really don't want to get taken again.-ask me any questions and i'd be more than willing to respond-my car looks like it may be leaking in two seperate places Fractured1 01-12-2005, 05:13 PM wow, thats an open question...it really depends on where the oil is actually leaking from...anywhere from a few $$ to lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$ Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
