94 Jimmy GMC suddenly dies

Engine will not crank over, headlights and interior lights come on, but no dash lights. Battery is good. Died while on the road, fuseable link was good on batt cables. Starter is not engaging. I do have a clifford alarm system installed. Have had vehicle for a few years and this is the first time it ahs happened. Battery cables cleaned.

there might be something wrong with your starter or starter solenoid. Take it off and take it to Advanced auto and ask them to test it.
