PRimer sanding

if i sand my primer to 800, will to be to slick for the ground coats of color not stick properly? or sould i take it down to 600? or could i just use a adhesion promoter?

btw im going to be using duplicolor metalcast to paint a moped.

800 wetsand is just fine. I've sanded much higher before, with no problem. But going higher than 800 wet is pointless, unless it needs it.

yea its crazy smooth at 800 with just primer, it looks like a silver paintjob


whats ur take on adhesion promoter?

I dont really use adhesion promoter much, unless its plastic. Usually epoxy primer, K36, base, clear.
