Need Help! 4wd won't disengage...

I have a '03 and the recent weather has had me in and out of "Auto 4WD" and 4 Hi. Now that the ice and snow is clearing to bare wet pavement, I've noticed my rig still seems to behave like the front hubs are engaged...I should clarify that I only notice this when I'm turning full radius and the tires claw and craw. The indicator light changes and there's no other obviously sign of 4WD at any other time than the low speed full turning like when you're grabbing a parking spot or pulling into the garage. Any help? I'm out of warranty too...

Ugh, how timely. I have an 02 and we finally realized this morning that the noise we'd been hearing for the past 3 days was Auto 4wd not disengaging as it should have been. I don't notice it turning, as I'm assuming it's stuck in auto, not 4 hi, but I do notice it in acceleration speeds and coasting.

I'm crossing my fingers it won't be something horribly expensive to fix. The $700 I just spent in new tires last month hurt badly enough, not to mention the upcoming brake job it'll be getting.

Take it in and get it fixed asap. I imagine it's the actuator or whatever, but I'm not real savvy on the newer models. Anyhow, driving around in 4wd all the time is going to wind up your front end all tight and whatnot and result in some real expensive driveline wear and damage.
