I was on vacation for 2 weeks, so I left my car at my Mechanics house, He is in Iraq, but his wife is home. (nice neighbor hood for the most part, there are some little pricks running around. I have done this many times with no proplems when I go on Vacation. Does anyone know if this is hard to fix, I am not looking into repainting it or looking like new, but just have someone bend it back. The Glass is FINE, not one scratch on the glass or the paint. Just that little plastic thing that keeps water from going in the window/door panel. Thanks yall.

My s-10 got broken into a few days age, got stereo, amps, subs..... insurance doesn't cover anythinh (even window)

Man, Lucky for me nothing was stolen, the pricks couldnt even get inside the car LOL.
My insurance would cover anything on my plan. But I am not gonna pay a $200-300 deductable for something that may not cost mush to fix.

If it's just the metal and not the door, then go to the dealer and get a new window trim. take off the window (which would require you to take off the inside door panel). then replace.

That is not nessesary, I just ripped off the window trip (that 3 foot thing), cause it was kinda hanging there. It definetly would not require to take out the window! Another one will just pop right on, I saw it in the Helms Service Manual. Its all good. I bent the door back pretty good with my hand. It will still look a little off, but hell, It could of been a lot worse

Ya thanks, It could of been ALOT worse, I here about cars being stolen, and the police finding them with missing rims, bodykits, interior, and even full engines.

i set the record for dumbest honda owner- i was dumb enough to let my car get broken into 3 times into a single week. now i park my baby EG in the garage or I dont go to sleep at night. i finally made the decision that it is just flat out NOT OKAY to park my baby outside anymore.

I live in San Diego (next to Tijuana) so we have one of the highest auto theft rates in the country, and i live in the highest stolen vehicle area, so if my car doesnt get to sleep in the garage at night, then i sleep in it or i dont sleep at all. if the car is there the criminal will find his way into it. the only answer to not getting ur honda jacked is to park it in the garage and force your roommate to park his car outside.

ya i have the best model alarm prestige makes, but its nice to have shaved door handles and a removeable steering wheel while youre at it :)

I park my car right under my bed room window with my alarm on. I had my S-10 stolen a while back and they did a smash and grab with it. Total loss. After I got my Civic I told myself if I ever caught some one toying with my car I would go to jail, Cause I would loose it and kill the guy or guys. I think getting door poppers and shaving my door handles is a great idea for all of us.
