I have a 95 3.1L when the engine is cold under light accel. 1800 RPMs the engine stalls out get your foot into is comes out of it. this will happen if it sits for a while and cools down also. The car does it once while warming up and the is fine. got new plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter.

Have the fuel pressure checked...could be the pump is starting to go. Also, is your check engine light on? If so, get the codes read to find out why...
