Angry 2000 express 5.7L fouling plugs won't start

I have a 2000 express 5.7L. Won't start pulled plugs soaked with gas. Installed new plugs same thing. I'm going to check for spark tommorow.
Any other ideas???????????

Guessing you found no or weak spark. Bad distributor??? Do you have to go thru the wheel wells to get the plugs out???

Check plug wires, cap & rotor (you'd think that they'd still be good for only being a few years old). Check coil. Or, if it was like mine, replace the ignition module inside the distributor. Pull the cap and rotor off and it is a small, squarish thing that screws into the distributor body and has a wire (or two? I can't remember now) that come out of the distributor. Replacement is $40-$70 from parts store, not difficult to do. Also a good time to check the rotor and distributor contacts - might want to replace them too.
