Can I use Multi-purpose bearing grease in the CV joint?

i wouldn't recomend it, i think the correct stuff to use is LM grease, the reason for this is that it doesn't liquify under high temperature as easily as other types, otherwise it would all run down to the bottom of the CV joint, leaving vital parts and bearings dry, which in turn would cause your new joints to wear more rapidly,.,.,.,.,
hope that helps, good luck.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,

Use the same grease that you would us in a regular U-Joint. A cv joint simply uses two regular u-joints.
