f150 fuel tank removal

Hello, I am trying to remove the front tank from a 95 F150 to replace the sending unit. I took the U shaped (sorta) clips off the fuel lines at the tank. How do I get the lines apart? Do they just pull apart or is there a special tool? Thanks

They pull apart.
