roll over

well i just rolled my1996 geo tracker. the engine seem to be running fine but i only ran it for about a minute. the damage seems to be mostly body. but what i was wondering is there a check list of sorts to check for after you roll the car.thanks for any help

How did you manage to roll a Tracker ? I have to know...pls reply.

p.s. I think it's gonna be alright mechanically, unless it was on its head for quite a while...I don't know of any type of checklist other than the basics...look for fluids where they should/shouldn't be and deal with those problems accordingly.

well if you really want to know i hit a patch of ice and slid into a curb it then flipped and i hit a fence. the fence is what did most of the damage because when i flipped it i landed in about a foot deep mud. and if you were wondering i have it back and running so far the total is only $200

You might want to change your oil, since you may have contaminated it in the roll-over. For example, it is possible to get gas into the oil, or even water, although less likely. Beyond that, there shouldn't be any real mechanical problems unless you damaged something in the engine compartment.

Hopefully you can get the bosy back in order soon.
