Pictures of my customized 2005 SL600

Attached is a link that will take you to 40 pictures of my new customized 2005 SL600.

I have done the following to this car.

1. Ordered the all black option which turned out to have many upgrades in trim as per the pictures.
2. Replaced the light gray Alcantara headliner, sunvisors and A-pillars to black.
3. Replaced the light and mirror assembly from light gray to black.
4. Replaced the standard Burlnut wood trim to the Black Ash wood trim. This included replacing the steering wheel, center console and shifter knob and both wood trim pieces on the doors.
5. Upgraded carpeting and floor mats as a result of the option of the black interior.
6. Installed the AMG tail lights.
7. Installed illuminated door sills - white
8. Installed new upgraded wheels.
9. Installed SIRIUS radio with TERK antenna in the front windshield grate on the drivers side.

See the heading on the pictures for descriptions. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

I love my new 2005 SL600. Thanks for all the encouragement from many of you. It has been a long wait but well worth it.

Again, many thanks.

That looks great together, I especially like the upgrades. I have personally felt the black to be a little plain, but it does look great with the dark wood accents.

I also like your yard. It looks like the gardener must stay busy from the way the plants look.

So tell me, are you still dreaming about the DB9 and how do you like your car now that you have driven it a bit?

Sloopy, what is a DB9? All kidding aside, the car drives incredibly well and I can't wait to really open her up after the breakin period. The car is faster than the DB9 for sure.

I can tell you I still think that my DB9 looked incredible but as you can see this car is also gorgeous looking, and with the black upgraded interior, maybe a little more plush.

DB9 is still a great car. Just wish for $180,000 they would put some gagets on the car. I mean, no garage door opener. That to me is just not excusable but I still loved the way the car looks.

What would I do if I started from scratch today? Order the SL600. It is way more comfortable inside and it drives better but if you want to give me a DB9 I am not turning it down.

Nice. The exterior colour is stunning and i love the black interior. The only thing that I'm not sure on is the wheels, but each to their own i supose.
