Question 94 Celica Conversion Need Help

I have been asked by a friend to fit the drive line out of a GT4 Celica into his 94 Celica that is FWD. As i don't know that much about the differences in the Celica range i thought somebody out there may have done it or might know if it can be done. I don't have much room in the rear floor pan for any modifications due to the large sterio fitted to the car. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: 94 Celica Conversion

nope dotn do it
1) the chassis on ur celica (st,gt?) is not as durable and has a center I beam that would hae to be cut off
2) youd have to cut into the firewaall, ALOT witch would make the car illegal
3) youd have to move the gas tank and various other thigns as well as cut into the body alot
4) it would be massive amounts of $$$ and it would be cheaper jsut to sell ur celica and import a gt-4 over
