Ok I give up--Have spark And fuel but no run......
1992 Camry 2200 4cyl. Just would not start one night, finally after a while it starts.Drive it for about 2 miles quits and will not run.Tow it home and just for kicks try to start it--fires right up.runs for about 2 minutes then sputter and quits.will not start after that.Replace the ignitor for kicks and fires right up and runs great let it idle for about 10 minutes, get in put it in reverse hit the gas and it bogs and shuts off.I did a crude fuel pressure check @the output of the fuel filter is sprays fuel all over.(yes i have a fuel pressure tester but Toyota has an adapter they want you to buy).Pull a spark plug and it fires when cranked--good blue spark, but it's bone dry--no gas on it at all.I did pull an injector plug off and only used my test light but it lit up bright on both sides of the plug--it may be normal but i am guessing on that is normal for Toyota--How can i get fuel out of the filter, have spark and it will not run?I am guessing that it's something electrical as it runs fine(when you get it to run)then after it has run for a short time it quits and will not re-start.When it's cold and you hit the throttle it's fine revs right up--get it to run when warm and even think about revving it up and it sputters and quits and will not run again. Now it did goto the diagnostic plug and there are no codes and i did the fuel pump test and it sounds fine.ANY IDEAS?
