Differance Between C1500 & K1500

I sometimes see it written C1500, K1500 or C/K1500. I noticed Consumer Reports gave slightly higher marks to the C1500 rather than the K. What is the actual differance? Thanks

Why would a C1500 get higher marks than a K1500? And what kind of marks? The K series are more expensive than the C. 4WD option is always gonna cost more, just like bigger engine option cost more.

I guess the K-4wd version of the truck would get lower grades because you have additional driveline, transfer case ,axles, more moving parts- which means more to break , & harder on fuel..

Not to mention a usually rougher ride since 2WD's are softly sprung in the front.
