Door jamb light switch - where is it at ?Bob D. 01-02-2005, 12:40 PM The interior lights don't come on sometimes when I open the drivers door...its ok if I open any other door so I suspect a bad ground with the switch. Only problem is I can't find the pin switch that is usually found inside the door jamb. Anyone know where the switch is ? 2000 JGC. xj31 01-02-2005, 12:59 PM the switch is part of the door latch Audiobahn77 01-04-2005, 10:17 PM xj31, is this the same for a 97 JGC too? Mine is doing the same thing. Just seems to work after a few seconds of the drivers door being open. xj31 01-06-2005, 10:57 PM on yours its seperate.on the pillar right under the striker its a black button type switch held on by a philips screw Audiobahn77 01-08-2005, 10:11 PM Yeah, I saw it. I can wiggle (not just push it in and out) it a little and the light goes on and off. It's almost like the contacts in the switch are getting flimsy. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
