Door jamb light switch - where is it at ?

The interior lights don't come on sometimes when I open the drivers door...its ok if I open any other door so I suspect a bad ground with the switch. Only problem is I can't find the pin switch that is usually found inside the door jamb.
Anyone know where the switch is ?
2000 JGC.

the switch is part of the door latch

xj31, is this the same for a 97 JGC too? Mine is doing the same thing. Just seems to work after a few seconds of the drivers door being open.

Yeah, I saw it. I can wiggle (not just push it in and out) it a little and the light goes on and off. It's almost like the contacts in the switch are getting flimsy.
