I have a 91 1500 and the radio and clock don't work i tried replacing the radio fuse it didn't help, is there another fuse i need to replace or is there an easy way to find out if there is a short? Does anyone have a wiring digram so i can find out which wire goes to the clock and radio
Any help u can give me would be appreciated.

I just replaced the radio on my 90 K1500. There is only one fuse for the radio. Mine was making a loud popping sound when ever the radio is turned on.

The radio is under the dash above the gas pedal. The controls (and clock) are actually a separate piece.

I ordered a new receiver from Crutchfield.com which came with a wiring diagram (which is at home). They also provided a wiring adapter so that no factory wires are cut.

Have you pulled the radio from the dash? Seems like it might be unplugged. I know most people unplugg the factory radio when they put a aftermarket in.
