well assuming you dont have an automatic transmission where you can just check on the ATF dipstick, you have to do some mechanical work
there is no way to actually check the exact level, but the best thing you can do is to 1. jack up the car on the passenger side behind the front tire and take the wheel off. when you look inward at the tranny from the outside of the right front fender you will see a 17mm bolt in the top left, the only large ass bolt that does not appear to be holding anything on, thats the fill spot. if you buy or use a eer bong contraption (a funnel with a two foot long hose connected to it, you can pour the fluid into the funner and place the hose inside the transmission fill hole until it starts to overflow. while you are down there look for any signs of leakage. i know i shoudl say this but when i filled mine up a month ago there was a huge crack and i just wiped some JB weld, over it, you can buy it at your local auto shop, and it looks ugly but i would have paid hundreds to get it welded otherwise. the site with a p ic of all this is
