Tires?

well i had a interesting run in with a little wannabe ricer trying to be punk in his little honda with a wing bigger than a jumbojets! anyway... he passes by me on the road being all punk... and i floor it to catch up... (loves to race) well i dunno what happened buy i droped down into 1st and rocketed up to 6500 RPMs and my tires start to spin crazy and i just lag there for a second... and then rocket off... i was wondering... why did i lose so much traction... my tires have never done that before... i know my little 2.5L V6 has a SHITLOAD of power but it was REALY weird... o ya i have cooper tires , the weirdest thing is that when i was going back home after that i was going up a hill and stoped at a sign and when i lightly accelerated my tires lost traction at about 4k RPMs

o ya i got a 1998 Cirrus is that is of any concern

o ya whats the cap on a cirrus's speed... i was going 110 and shifted and i was like WTF dident wanna go any faster little curvy road
