Thumbs up Tribute to all the awesome help I got...

I'd like to personally thank decoy86, skipr, Fireplug, NY Z28Man, '97ventureowner, bowtiebandit, and GMMerlin and anyone else who has helped me this past week. I love my truck and was sick of having to work ont it. So after rewiring the wires that follow the driver side frame rail, the transmission and transfer case wires for four wheel drive and speedometer I had taken care of my stupid mistake. We changed the water pump, put some good coolant in, I got wires, plugs, cap, rotor, PCV valve, thermostat and fuel filter changed. I definately notice a difference in power now too because the old igntion was ungodly worn out and corroded. Next monday night I'm gonna bleed the brakes and sometime later on next week change the oil in her. I'm just happy to have my truck runnin again. Again, thanks for all the help guys!

Now to go out and have fun, and possibly get wasted these next few nights, so happy new years everybody! (might be awhile before I post back.)

It's a good feeling when your effort and time actually produce positive results don't ya think? I'm glad it's worked out for you. This is one of the things about the World wide web that is great, forums like these. End users helping other fellow end users, we all share at least 1 thing in common...we have Chevy trucks and we want to fix them ourselves.
