Anyone here race their camrys?
Any of you guys/gals have fun with your camrys? So far I've seen a couple runs by 3rd gens and 4th gens here in Oakland, CA. Just curious if anyone else does it.

Re: Anyone here race their camrys?
You mean on track, like legally, right? Because I can think of plenty of people who race them illegally.

Any type of racing. Track, Street, freeway, etc. Just want to get a number of how many do it and what kinds of mods have been done.
Personally I want to race a couple of camrys myself here in California, have not found any yet.

Some of the Camrys that I know of in Cali are forced induced either via supercharger or turbo. I don't know about the racing part, for some things are just never spoken of in that fashion

Re: Anyone here race their camrys?
I know quite a few people who have done a bit of street racing with their Camrys...I've raced with a few people, but I've only tinkered with things, hadn't added many major modifications...mostly ignition tweaks.

Re: Anyone here race their camrys?
I've done some racing with my stock Camry (no tweaks). Took it out to the track and raced some police officers in their cruisers. They used it as an example of why they needed new cars.

I plan on taking mine to the track this summer to do a pass. I am predicting somewhere in the low mid-low 15s. I plan on tweaking it a little more. I have done a couple races on the street and took a few.
