Just recieved S/C Oil from ZZP, no turkey baster

yeah i have no way of getting out my old S/C oil. I have no turkey baster at home, and even if i did, i have no rubber hose to hook up to the S/C. Is there anywhere i can take the oil to have it done. My mom is a doctor so i can easily get a syringe.

Come on,I cant belive you dont have an old spray bottle.....and fish tank hose can be found at walmart for about 2 bucks.

This is my revised version from clubGP

What ive used for the past 6 yrs is an old spray bottle and some fish tank hose.

Parts:

You will need two bottles of GM supercharger oil, GM p/n: 12345982

Tools:

Old Spray bottle w/pump

Short fish tank hose about 12" long - needs to fit over the end of spray pump, and the other end in the s/c housing.

3/16 Allen wrench

NOTE: Make sure that your engine is cool before starting this and is on level ground!

1.You can first start by removing the cover.Remove the center nut and set in a safe place, then lift up the cover and tip it back to release from the rear bracket.

2.Next remove the 3/16 allen head plug and set aside with the cover nut.

3.Insert the tube that's attached to the spray pump into the hole of the S/C housing, and pump out as much oil as you can inside the housing into the old spray bottle. This may have to be done a few times moving the hose around,to remove as much of the oil that you can. Dispose
of your old/used oil with your old motor oil in an environmentally SAFE manner.

4.Add the new oil until it fills the snout to the bottom of the threads. It will take almost two bottles. Be careful to NOT overfill!

5.Screw the plug back in and do not over torque.

Now you have just done an oil change on the SC.

like a regular water spray botltle or windex spray bottle? If you use a turkey baster do you still need to use some fish tank hose?

You have to make the hose long enough to get in and down inside the supercharger.
I like the pump (elec) from a waterbed.
But yes, reg. spray bottle.
Big-L has a fix for everything. We are trying to talk him into writting a book. But no luck yet.

Big-l could write a book, i bet it would make money, im not joking. Big-L you could just be your own publisher, or sell it ownline and if it catches on, Amazon.com might throw it on the site, think of it with the money u make from book, you could turn your Grand Prix into a 10 second car thanks for tips to, i have old spray bottle, only hard part is not buying a fishtank hose that is to big for spray bottle, you knwo the diameter that you use Big larry

Ive used a few different types of bottles and not had any problem with the hose fitting any of them, since they all seem to be close to the same size.

Ugh, I had hoped that this time would never come again. I've got to change my S/C oil soon, and I've got a stomach flu. Better bring towels and a bucket, yum!

Re: Just recieved S/C Oil from ZZP, no turkey baster

I just changed mine for the first time today and it went pretty good. It was easy. I got a turkey baster and a slim clear hose from NAPA. Just sucked it out and put it into an old Pennzoil container. I got almost 8 ounces out and it was a burnt orange color and reeked like rotten vinegar. I put the new oil in and saw that it has a clear look to it. I feel stupid cause this is the first time I have had it changed since I owned it. A Pontiac dealership told me it never needed to be changed and I believed them. But thanks to this Forum I know better now and will do this every 30,000 miles. Thanks!
