Question 1998 s-10 Blazer Tranny leaking

I posted a thread 2 days ago looking for information on stopping a leak from my 1998 s-10 Blazer that I thought was comming from the dipstick tube seal. Now I see that it is actually leaking from just behind the dipstick tube at the housing and a little higher up than where the seal meets the housing, then runs around the base of the dipstick tube. It is dripping at the rate of about one drop every second or two.
Anyone know what would be causing the leak in that area???

Thanks to all that replied to my first question!

My uncle swears by that automatic transmission stop leak stuff.

He used it in his 63 Cadalac convertable after he had it in storage for 5 years right after the transmission was re-built (and started to leak with dry seals)

Re: 1998 s-10 Blazer Tranny leaking

no, it's not over filled, what I fianlly found out was the lower transmission cooling line comming from the side of the transmission going up to the radiator is leaking at the connection at the transmission, then dropping down the side and around the end of the dip stick tube, so now I'll try changing that fitting (if I can get my hands up there). don't know if stop leak will help this one or not???
