Top Speed Limiter? '96

Well, I was curious as if there were any way to get rid of it without purchasing a Hypertech Controller. I just need it for those long roadies reaching 14 hours or more.

NO.

Ahh.... let me guess, you're someone who drives under the speed limit, right? Wow. Let me ask you something, what's more dangerous? - Someone going 20 above the speed limit, or someone doing 20 below. Do the math buddy, 95/75 is a lot less of a percentage from 1 than 55/75.

What I am is a guy who had a close friend die because someone was going 20 miles over the speed limit and hit them.
What I am is a father, husband and son that has to drive 50 miles on the interstate everyday.
What I am is a firefighter/emt who has to extricate victims of your reckless driving.
Yes,speeding is reckless driving. Driving under the speed limit is reckless also.
How about drive like you got a little common sense....the life you save may be your own....

Easy there GM-Merlin...he just wanted to know how to get around the speed limiter. He was not looking to debate the right and wrong of exceeding the speed limit. Maybe he would like to pass someone traveling at sixty-five mph without hitting the limiter before he gets all the way around them.

Gets kind of spooky when your in the wrong lane and the Tahoe cuts out...woops should of had a little more room.

Heck we may as well get into the whole issue of rights while we are at it. I believe I should be able to decide whether I wear a seat-belt, smoke a cigarette after dinner, or drive faster than 99MPH...not the government or the Big Three.

which indicates that he wants to get somewhere in a hurry.
There is no legitimate reason to disable the fuel cutoff.
Besides that, this was an A-B conversation...

Any more threads about removing the fuel cutoff (govenor) will be LOCKED
