K i saw my egr tube in half because i had to get the intake manifold off.. can i just plug the tube up or should i reconnect it somehow.. what will happen if i plug the tube up ?

You should reconnect it. In the haynes manual it says that if it's not working correctly, it will cause rough idle and cause poor performance. I would actually try it and see what happens though, as they usually say that something bad will happen if you do anything with the emissions system. It's just to get you to not touch anything. Politics.

well been running for a few days now.. works fine..

Did the light come on yet?

well it comes on when i had the egr tube open.. but now that i closed it ( heated it up cherry red then pinched the tube with pliers ) the light doesnt come on.
