Temp Gauge

My temp gauge no longer functions. I had someone check all fuses and all are ok. Looking for other possible reasons for failure other than replacing the unit. I appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Temp Gauge

If it was a instrument cluster problem your fuel gauge would probably be acting up also. You might want to check the coolant temp sensor, it's on the forward side of the cylinder head just below the oil filler. I believe it has a brown/white & brown/green wire. Sensor resistance should be about 2000-3000 Ohms cold & go to 200-300 Ohms hot.
