Porsche Cayenne is here!!!!!!!
Here are the first pics of the new Porsche Cayenne SUV from the Porsche website:
These first pics are of the Cayenne Turbo. Specs are as follows:
4.5L Biturbo V8
450hp
460ft.lb from 2,250-4,750rpm
0-62mph in 5.6sec
Top speed ~165mph
Seats five
Permanent intelligent AWD
Wheels range in size from 18-20 inches
These are the Porsche Cayenne S:
Specs are as follows:
4.5L V8
340hp
310ft.lb. from 2,500-5,500rpm
0-62mph in 7.2sec
Top Speed ~150mph
Seats Five
Permanent intelligent AWD
Wheels from 18-20 inches
I like the looks of the Turbo, but the S is a little iffy right now--not the performance you would expect from a Porsche.
IT BETTER HANDLE INCREDIBLY WELL, OR ELSE!
Later
:flash:

I think life sucks, then you get cancer, then your dog dies, your wife leaves you, the cancer goes into remission, you get a new dog, you get remarried, you owe ten million dollars in medical bills but you work hard for thirty-five years and you pay it back and then -- one day -- you have a massive stroke, your whole right side is paralyzed, you have to limp along the streets and speak out of the left side of your mouth and drool but you go into rehabilitation and regain the power to walk and the power to talk and then -- one day -- you step off a curb at Sixty-seventh Street, and BANG you get hit by a city bus and then you die. Maybe.

The exhaust thing on the turbo is too big IMO... And who the hell wants to do 165 mph in a suv? It must be extremely unstable at this kind of speed... I really don't know what to think about this all $hit , maybe they will make another generation of the 928 and put those engine in? That would be better than this IMO , something to compete with Mercedes SL , or maybe even Ferrari 575M and Aston Martin Vanquish...

I thing the new Cayenne is ugly as shit. Specially the Turbo, what about those front bumpers with those huge intakes? It shouldnīt have bumpers then! And the back, is uglyyy, too plastic, I never expected something like that from Porsche. And yes the wheels on the Cayenne S loos very much as those on the Focus ZX5, which is good

I also find it a little homely. And people who buy this to have a fast SUV, or the status of an SUV and a Porsche (lamers), deserve to have their money taken from them, and to have a machine that is almost completely useless in the real world.
Just my $.02
