Re: Turbo and turbo parts cost

For what car? I looked at your profile and saw that it shows you having an 04 Grand Am. If it's for that then you can get a turbo kit for 3500 that includes the manifolds, external wastegate, oil feed lines, front mount i/c, tubing etc for $3500 but I currntly do not have the link, but will get it and post a.s.a.p. This is the best thing but I think it may be for the 3400 V6 but I don't know what you have. this is a good kit and I think that it is a Turbonetics unit so it's good quality stuff and the manifolds are ceramic coated to keep under hood temps lower, although it's al;ways fun to see a turbo glowing red hot after a good run and even light a smoke off of it (don't try this at home!!!) The turbo does sit high so you wouldn't be able to use a GRP hood as it would melt. Also big big peice of advice if running a turbo, don't ever after a 'spirited run' just switch off your motor!! The turbo will cool too quickly and the casing will crack not good!!! run it at idle for about 10 mins after. To be honest if you don't want to go ultra crazy a supercharger is easier and cheaper in the long run RSM racing do a vortech kit but other companies do to as RSM are in Toronto.
