I hear all your concerns, but no worries. I am working in the U.S. to prduce a turbo, intercooler, and fuel management package for the new Z.

We preordered the new Z earlier this month and it is due to arrive in less than 180 days. We plan to have the package ready within 90 days of it's arrival. i cannot say who I work for or what companies are in the mix.... all I can say is it is real and we see between 425 and 500 hp gains... using a mocked up VQ35 from the altima (with some internal mods)

What size turbos are you going to use?

What kind of intercooler (front mount, side mount)

425 hp at the crank or wheels and at what boost level?

Do you have to change the pistons and rods/lower the compression ratio of the 350Z?

What quarter mile times do you project given the HP and the weight of the 350Z?

Price of this kit?

Reliability if known or if reliable at all?

Using the Quarter Mile Calculator (found at www.fantasycars.com/derek)...quarter mile time estiamtes came out like this...

425HP w/a curb weight of 3150 (estimated curb weight of 350Z)...12.07 seconds

500HP w/same numbers...11.44 seconds

Just for comparison...stock HP of 280HP w/same weight...13.88 seconds

The supposed 315HP w/same weight...13.42 seconds

Something tells me to doubt the validity of this. But we'll see. If it's true, that'll be great. If not, oh well, just at great.

The details are still guarded at the moment. The package will be twin turbo, and we are planning a front mount cooler. the bumper pics we have seen will support it, but, we have to wait until it arrives to determine if engine space allows.

This is very real! We purchased 3 new VQ35s from nissand and we have an engine dyno that we are doing the testing on.... the biggest problem is, what is nissan going to chage to squeeze more power out?

We are betting the intake and comprssion with some slight header changes will easily make the 280 hp, but it's only a bet. our car is in the fist 8 to be shiped to Nor. Cali...... we have to wait just like everyone else.

the prices and specific parts will be announce in Sept.

The HP gains are at fly wheel, but it is still possible to see about 400hp to the tires, sice the cluch and drive shaft are ultra light.

Sorry I can't say more, I am itching to tell the world, but even as the owner I can't say more because of the other companies involved.

I can't belive that everyone is so negitive about this.

I am posting on chat rooms to see what kind of interst there is for the package we are working on.

There is not the big deal with lawsuits, it's mostly an agreement to keep the names of companies out of it until we have a real product.

If you guys are not interested in me posting the updates to our planned VQ35DETT on this listing then so be it! If you are, then just sit back and I'll keep posting from day to day with what details I can.

If you are unsure of my validity that's fine. I own my own company, I have no problem with disbelivers, but once the package comes out just remembe who tried to give you the inside scoop:confused:

I'm potentially interested if you plan to certify the kit for 50 state emissions soon after it is developed.

I'm sure a lot of owners will be interested once the "package" comes out. But as for me, I think I'm gonna have to wait for a while, since I think it'll be quite a few grands--$6K, $7K? I need to save up a little.:D
