Heated Seats in 2001 Ramgunner328 12-20-2004, 08:11 AM I have a 2001 Ram 1500 with heated leather seats. This morning when I turned on the drivers side, the light in the switch blinked, and it never heated up. Can anyone tell me what this means? Thanks for your help. fredjacksonsan 12-20-2004, 04:45 PM Check the fuse first, owner's manual second. The O.M. should tell you what the blinking light is. rockindaddy 02-16-2005, 12:01 AM have same problem checked fuses etc.more than likely its the heat element in the seat.mine would get extremely hot just before it crapped uot rockindaddy 02-16-2005, 05:00 PM have same problem checked fuses etc.more than likely its the heat element in the seat.mine would get extremely hot just before it crapped uot there's one other thing you could check it may also be the heated seat relay in the drivers side fuse panel.it's about 6 bucks it's worth a shot. oneholdone 12-06-2005, 03:52 PM there's one other thing you could check it may also be the heated seat relay in the drivers side fuse panel.it's about 6 bucks it's worth a shot. I have a 2001 3500 with dual heated seats, if i turn on the passengers seat it goes on with no problem, but when i turn on the drivers side the light on the high heat blinks for 40 to 60 seconds then goes out without the seat heating up. I removed the dash cover and reversed the switch wires with the same result. you sad there is a relay in the fuse panel is it marked in any way? Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
