I hear strange "sisisis" noise recently when star the car (especially in cold morning or night) but no problem starting the car, and no noise when temp is warm, is this normal or is there a problem with the starter. thanks.

might just be one of the belt driven bearings sqeaking cause its cold - shouldn't be a problem. did u get out an try an hear wear it is coming from ? cause just sayin ur hearing a sisisis noise could be alot of things dude....

serpentine belt! Not a problem. Does it go away after about 5 mins driving?

My serpentine belt started squeeling a few weeks ago, it's about a year old so I was not going to replace it, so I just got a can of belt dressing, sprayed it one the belt for about five seconds with it running, and it hasn't made a sound since.
