Exclamation I am young not rich

I cannot afford a brand new spanking 2002 trans am ram air ws6.

I just was thinking either a 1999 or 2000 trans am ram air....

I did not want to go with a 98 cause I heard it has less horsepower than the models up from it. Also I want the ram air it looks so cool and the forced induction. 20 thousand bucks is maximum I can spend. I am 20 and my insurance right now for full coverage..(liability and comprehensive) is 120 a month.. Can someone give me a ruff estimate before I call insurance company? Also I just am giving you this money info to try and ask you what trans am ram air you think I can get 1999 or 2000 maybe 98. I just want the speed and everything plus the ram air is sooo cool. I might want to throw on later a slp ram air hood like firehawks.. Very cool.

Thank you for help I appreciate it guy's

Unfortunetly, as far as what you'll have to pay for insurance, I can't help.
The insurance is in my dads name, to save me money.

However, a 1998 has the same power as a 1999 or 2000.
Only the 2001-2002 got a SLIGHT bump in power, due to a new intake manifold design.

If it will save you some money, I see no reason why you shouldn't get a '98 if it will save you some money. Plus, they have bigger fuel injectors (which is better if you plan to mod the car later on)
