Question 96 Sentra moans & groans during steering

Winter has arrived and I jetted town for 2 weeks and now when I turn the steering wheel to park or around corners the steering gives a loud noise from the right hand side. Can this be solved with steering fluid? Bear with me I am a New Yorker more accustomed to the subway then cars.

Your power steering fluid must be low. Buy fluid and fill the reservoir up

These cars are known for strut bearings binding up too.
