97 caravan 3.0 v6
It started out with a radiator leak(small).I let the car run for few weeks adding water every so often then everyday.
lately the leak was also coming from the lower hose connection to the engine block. so I decided to change the radiator and the "o"ring on that inlet.the radiator leak stopped but not the leak from the engine side of the inlet(driver side).I can't see exactly from where the water would be coming from.
Please help

I have the same kind of problem and I think it's a failing water pump. From what information I can find out the timing belt also turns the water pump.... which means that if the pump fails and seizes it might strip the timing belt and basically your van could die at the road side. A scary thought.
I'd love to do the repair myself but it looks a hard job to dismantle the whole serpentine side of the engine and then do the job. I think I will just go and see how much it will cost to have it done, and get the timing belt changed at the same time.

Thanks for the info.I did check and it is a big job that involves the removal of the timing belt and all the pulleys and the right engine mount
etc...
I bought the a new pump+timing belt+serpentine and a/c belts and also a valve cover gasket + 3 cans of freon and I gave the whole thing to a mechanic .He did all the above for $130.I put in a new radiator myself and that was not easy either.
The car is not leaking anymore.
