1990 Jetta sqeaky belt problem.. HELP!!

I just purchased a 1990 Jetta 4 cylinder, 4door, gas operated. When I start the car for the first 2 minutes there is a squeaking sound coming from one of the belts in the engine bay. The sound goes away instantly then the car sounds normal. Does anyone know what is causing this "squeaky sound"? Thanks for your time.

Rick

A worn or cracked belt, or did oil get on it? It's not unusual to only squeak for a minute when they're bad.
