hey, i'm just wondering why my camaro won't hold a charge. What happened was, I put a new starter in and as I was tightening the battery cable, I didn't notice that it twisted into the exhaust manifold. Of course, a short time later, my car died. Shorted out the electrical. I didn't know this until AFTER I bought a new alternator, and battery. What should I replace to fix this problem? I already tried a new ECU as well. Any ideas anyone???

welcome to the forums

did you replace/fix the + wire that went to the starter? Im assuming thats the one that melted through..
There is also a fuseable link from the battery to the alternator.. when it shorted out, you could have blown the fuse
