front defrost not working

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for why the front defrost is not working on our 94 Cavalier. Everything else seems to be OK (e.g., vent), but no air will come out of the top defrost. Thanks,

Jeff

Re: front defrost not working

Jeff, that would be problem with your vacccccuuuum. There are small rubber tubes inside engine compartment. They are right behind engine coming thru from inside car and going around to left down to brake lines. They detoriate and then your switch inside vehicle cannot control them.Common problem on 91-94 cavaliers.
