I have a 94 civic with a jdm b16a1 and sometimes while im driving it will stop accelerating for a few seconds. It seems as if it stalls out but if i push on the gas more it will accelerate again. After this the check engine light will come I was just curious if ne one had ne ideas as to what is causing this. Thank You.

maybe a dirty fuel system or bad spark plugs. Id recomend lucas to clean the fuel system.

what is the code you are throwing ?

when exactly does it stop accelerating? hard accelerating? normal accelerating right after a turn? right or left? fuel level at the time? does it miss, backfire, pop, or any noticible noise or vibration when it does that? is it like it just shuts down for a second then miraculously comes back on? and yeah, wut code r u getting?

sounds like it is a momentary shortage of fuel. nothing to do w/ throttle, just the pump sucked air for a second. i know it happens in my rex when the tank gets low (last couple gallons), right after takin a decent right turn. it'll kinda die, then get goin again.
