93 Caravan 3.3L engine shutting off

Recently completed installing a new tranny,(any questions about that little ordeal, let me know!) Any way, I have driven it a few times and all is well with the transmission, but after I have driven the vehicle for about 30 miles or so, the engine will shut off. Shorter duration trips and all is well. It does not matter if it is in drive or not. Last time, I was pulling into the driveway and as soon as I put it in park, it died. Time before, same day, it was in drive and died as I was pulling into a parking lot. Wait a couple minutes and it will start up fine and drive nicely. It seems to be a based on how long the engine is running. Yesterday I drove the car 30 miles and it died. Waited 5 minutes and it started up fine. I came back out about 2 hours later, drove back home the 30 miles and it died like I explained in the driveway. Son drove it two days prior, 10 mile trip, no problems. One thing I did notice the first time this happen, my alternator guage started fluctuating and bounced around near the 18 mark, while I was driving into work. It died when I got to my parking spot. Drove home, no problems at all with the gauge or dieing. Again about a 30 mile drive or 1 hour time elapse when this happens. I am also hearing some chirping from around the drive belt. Noticeable at idle, dissapears as you increase the RPMS. No additional problems with the gauge. any thoughts?
