Cool tow/haul not working

I know this has had to have been asked before but my tow/haul button doesn't work and if anyone knows what the common problem is or if you have a wiring diagram for this area

did you ever figure out why your tow/haul button is not working?? I have a 2000 tahoe with this problem now. if i hear anything, ill let you know..

I've heard guys with this problem. Sometimes, it's a Sticky Switch, Loose wire or broken connection. If you pull the cover off around your steering column you may be able to see a broken wire that goes up the length of the Gear Shift. If not Check fuses and look for broken wires further down the column.

heres a schem. peeling the column sounds like a real good place to start.
