Looking to buy

Hey, looking for a new car... looking at a used sunfire. What's the best? I like the '99 or so body style the best, but don't know anything about the engines. Assuming a '99 Sunfire GT will be a wicked car (2.4L?) but concerned about the mods, i'm not going to have a lot of money to drop on the car... so something like 3K on a supercharger is unrealistic for me. Any suggestions?

Re: Looking to buy

Pontiacs GT comes with 2.4 DOHC engine, not 2.3. I got 2000 GT, trust me, if it is in good condition, the car is worth every penny.

Please dont bring back dead threads, this one has been dead for over a year. When you bring back old threads it just clutters up the boards so please check the dates before you post in them.

Re: Looking to buy

Please dont feel the need to tell new members about this. There is a very efficient moderating team here that will do that in due course. When you bring it upon yourself to act in this fashion, it just clutters up the boards and could cause uneccessary unease in new members so please leave new members who might break the site guidelines alone for the mods to welcome and inform of any guidelines.

Re: Looking to buy

Yeah I here ya man I'm just going by what the AF rules are...I dont mean to cause any ''uneccessary unease'' to you in any way, so I hope that didnt happen. The quoted paragraph came from the rules just to let you know so you dont think im trying to be an ass or anything.

POSTING IN CLOSED OR OUTDATED THREADS:
If a thread has been closed, there is probably a logical reason for it. If you feel that the reason(s) for closure of the original thread are unjustified or wish further clarification feel free to contact any member of the moderating team. However, do not start a new thread about another closed thread.
Please avoid posting or voting in outdated threads. It merely clutters up the message board and makes it more difficult for fellow members to sort through the vast amount of information contained on the boards. If you have new and important information to add regarding a past discussion, feel free to start a new thread and if need be, add a link to the original thread.
