I have the sr20di engine i my Primera and would like to put the sr20de or sr20det in. Is their a problem mayby i the wireing or other things?
The sr20di is the singlepoint injection engine for Primera

Don't get upset if noone answers your question. We're not being rude and someone will answer your question if they know. I don't think you'll find too many experts here on the SR20Di motor. Sorry.

I wouldn't even think about doing this. It's probably the equivalent of replacing the entire front end of the car.

You're looking changing the engine block, gearbox (different ratios), ECU + practically all the sensors, probably the rear-end fuel pump. Bear in mind that the ECU is in the cabin, you'll need to run a new wiring loom through to it, which (without snipping) will probably mean dashboard wiring, central locking wiring, etc, etc.

It'd be quicker and cheaper to buy a car with one already in!
