Interior ProblemBeckyinva 03-02-2002, 07:37 AM I just received my 325I this week after a long wait. Topaz Blue with Sand leather interior. I opted not to order the Myrtlewood trim for the interior (big mistake). I thought it would have no trim when I received it. Instead, it has this titanium silver trim that looks awful with the Sand leather color. I am so disappointed. Anyway, is there anyway I can change it out or have it painted? What would be best and what kind of place would do this for me....body shop? Thanx in advance for the answers. Becky def 03-02-2002, 11:23 AM You should be able to buy wood trim kits. Dealer should have them and I've seen them in aftermarket catalogs. 2001-325i 03-04-2002, 02:53 PM Relax, Becky. It is very easy to replace the trim in your car. Here is a web site that has step-by-step instructions. It's not a problem. Okay, maybe a small $ problem having to buy the replacement trim parts. Still, I would get it changed so you can stop thinking about it. I'm surprised it was not made clear to you that aluminum trim is standard. Wood is an option, or part of the premium package. He wants to get the PP package but doesn't want the wood. You two might be able to work out a swap deal. ;) http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t28551.html Beckyinva 03-05-2002, 06:42 AM Thanx for the info. Great info!
