I have a question for all you guys...
I have a '93 Cavalier 4 door with a 3.1 V6.
Ever since I bought it, I have noticed that the heater and air conditioning are blowing very weak. The motor sounds like it's working, it's just as loud as the heater in my old car; it doesn't sound like it's running slow.
Because my heater doesn't blow very hard, I can never completely defrost my windshield. And lately, with all the cold weather, I freeze my ass off in the car. It's almost cold enough for me to see my breath sometimes.
The air blowing out of the vents on all settings of the heater is warm, but just not blowing hard. My engine temperature stays right around 275 (middle of the guage), and warms up quickly.
I would have thought to change the thermostat, but that would only be the problem if it wasn't blowing warm air, which it is.
Wish I would have paid attention to this when I bought the car, but it was almost 30 celcius outside, so I didn't worry about the heater... Not too bright, I know...
Anyone have any ideas?
Ryan
