Led brake light works, other 2 dontWilcoxIV 12-06-2004, 06:37 PM Hi, I have an 01 blazer, and the LED break light works fine, but the other 2 on the sides dont. The turn signals work and so do the reverse lights... From the looks of my wiring diagram, it shows that the stop light is powered by the same wire as the turn signal light. Therefor, if the turn bulb works, so should the break light, except if the break switch isnt working. The problem with that theory is the LED break light. If the LED comes on, then the switch should be working. Confusing isn't it? Thanks for any advice in advance swalt 12-06-2004, 10:38 PM Hi, I have an 01 blazer, and the LED break light works fine, but the other 2 on the sides dont. There was a recall for the multifunction switch in the steering column on many of them and it caused the rear brake lights to fail. You may want to check with the dealer to see if there is any outstanding campaigns for your truck. WilcoxIV 12-07-2004, 01:39 AM Did you have the recall taken care of on your truck? I called the dealer, and read him off the pin... he told me that there were no recall of any sort dealing with the brake lights. I may try again tomorrow just for the hell of it, he may have been dickin me around. ricksza 12-07-2004, 06:59 AM Hi, I have an 01 blazer, and the LED break light works fine, but the other 2 on the sides dont.
