mmmm the CLK GTR vs F1 GTR Vs 911 GT1 vs R390 GT1.....
the GTR never got so much recognition. possibly becos it was even uglier than the original car. and i think there were even fewr GTR's then LM's.

as for youre comparison. CLK-GTR anyday, that thing kicked ass on mclarens and porsches when it raced in the GT series, and it was doing well in Lemans until it broke down.

They made 5 LM's and only 1 GTR. And of course the Merc would be better, it was designed as a race car (the McLaren was always meant to be a road car. The racing version came around by coincidence). Also, the Mercedes is almost 10 years newer!

nope, the car that flipped was the CLR, a completely different design. there have been 5 flips in total. 3 CLR's, 1 911 GT1, and 1 coupe R8

VH45DETTwithNOS, for some reason I don't believe you actually got ahold of a VH45DETT... If those were in the R390, I think they'd be a little rare...

Please show pictures if what you say is true.

If I'm not mistaken, they are also in the Q45.

Nope, completely different engine in the Q45, it being 4.5L N/A...
Plus the engine code for the Q45 is something like VQ45DE... It's not VH45DE... Completely different engines.

THe Q45 is not VQ series, I'm almost completely sure. I don't know what it is.

The r390 is a race car modified for the street, It never won Le Mans.

The McLaren F1 was a streetcar modified for racing, It won Le Mans in its first try.

I am more impressed with the F1's performance.
