hey guys/gals......
I have had 2 bimmers...one 83 335e and now a 1993 525iTwagon. On both cars, arround the same KMs....150-180k, I get what feels like a vibration or a shudder in the drive train when the vehicle is ltaking off from a light or stop sign. Ususaly under heavy load...like if you were floaring it, then when you hit about 60-80 km/hr, it goes away.
Any ideas?
Is this a common occurance?

Any ideas would help....Bman

Not uncommon, the cause is usually siezing u-joints in the driveshaft that cause the Center Support to fail [the rubber breaks]. Replacing the Support only is only a temporary fix in most cases. A QUALITY reman. driveshaft is the permanent cure.
