year???

in the movie the fast and the furious, what year is the black charger?? i might be able to buy a charger 500, and its body style is exactly like that. i was just wondering if anybody knew what year it was...thankyou

Wait, a 69 500? Those are rare. There is a registery, trying to track all of them down. Not sure about the website, but the guys at www.dodge-charger.com should know. I seriously suggest you visit the site, and ask about it.

Yea, it's a 70, but what i don't like about it is how they took off the entire front grill, meh w.e....

Interesting car, the '69 Charger 500. Glad to see someone here knows what's up! Haven't seen one for about 10 years. That one was running around Richmond with a 318 in it (YUCK!). I think they just put whatever engine they could find in it. The originals I remember seeing, had 383s or 440s in them. Good top-end racer!

the 69 charger 500 came with a 440. the only other option was a 426 hemi. those were the only two engine options for that model which is also the same for the daytona.

Same as the GTX's - 440 4v standard followed by the six-pack and Hemi options ...
