'98 SL2, P0341 -"CMP sensor signal out of range"...after a tune-up job

... and I can't seems to find CMP sensor to check for circuit and sensor itself. Where is it located at!?

Some documentations suggest #1 and #4 spark plugs/wires, coils problems. Has anyone encountered this code before? If so can you tell me what's going on?

CORRECTION ----> it's 2001 SL2, and NOT '98... sorry for the error..

Sorry I never had the chance to thank you for your respond a few months back. I followed you diagnostic aid and it worked! It was the new #1 SP wire that I replaced that was bad.

I'm glad we have this forum, and people like you. I hope someday I'll be able to return the favor!
