Re: Mustang Engine swap
i'd find a wrecked GT and get it's motor, tranny, computer, wiring, smog stuff, and rear end, and put that in your car. make sure you get it from the same line of car, e.g. 96-98 or 99-04. it's a lot of work but it's worth it. do an aftermarket exhaust while you're at it.

Re: Mustang Engine swap
well we need a boat load of more info than that. im assuming you will be doing all the work yourself becasue the labor cost will be asmuch as a small country. you can do alot depending on A} ur budget and B}how fast you want it. just about any new engine will make yoru car go faster than it does now. the cheapest way to make it a bit faster is to do what the last post said but that is gunna run you alot of money and if i was goin to have my car in peaces like that i would pitch in the extra and make it rip. put a 347 storker sportsman shortblock 3,ooo dollars put a twisted wedge trackheat top end adn cam in it 2,000 {5,000total for a motor} if you want a stick than spen 1,700 on a new tranny {tko 600} 500 for new axles 200 for new rear gears, 400 for new computer, and you can have that car going faster than you could ever imagine if you have the money. youl have to change more than jsut the engine anyway you go tho. we really need more info than you gave us

as much as i appreciate that, i must point out that i only reply to threads for which i have (or think i have) the correct response for. i'm not anywhere near as knowlegable as hiflow and gtstang, but i'm working on it... hell, a lot of what i know came from those two guys and a lot of the other veterans around here.
