2000 rav 4 remote entry

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/disappointed.gif Purchased a keyless remote on ebay for 2000 rav 4.Seller assured me that if vehicle had power windows and locks then it had the unit for programing remote in vehicle.I have seen post that said unit was under front seat or behind glove box,but I have literally tore this car apart and can not find unit.Help please! danodu

Mine was under front drivers seat mounted on top of the carpet

directly under the seat about in the middle.
